There are three main themes:

   

Service - 
Outside the Scout and Guide Movements by participating in Community projects, assisting with special projects in NZ and abroad, helping with special needs and the elderly and assisting with fundraising.

  Social –
Recreational and social activities are an important part of fellowship. Events include lunches and dinners, barbeques, outings to interesting venues, invited guest speakers, etc.

  Support –
Includes assisting with maintenance of Scout and Guide Halls and camping grounds, catering at functions, as well as generally supporting Scouting and Guiding in NZ and developing countries.
 

 

Older members

   As we age some of us are not as active and cannot get involved in some of the activities, but we do what we can.
   Involvement ranges from members who still hold positions in Scouts or Guides and some weekly commitment, through to those who can only now be involved socially. All are welcome.
