NZSGF HISTORICAL MEMBER ORGANISATIONS
There were 3 organisations in New Zealand that made up the membership of the NZ Scout and Guide Fellowship Inc. (NZSGF).
- Baden-Powell Guild
- Local Scout & Guide Fellowship
- Trefoil Guild
In 2025 the Baden-Powell Guild and the Local Scout and Guide Fellowship branches agreed to combine with all these member branches becoming branches of the New Zealand Scout and Guide Fellowship Incorporated. This transition was compleeted in 2026. Trefoil Guild as a section of GirlGuides NZ could not become branches of NZSGF, but remains as an affiliated organisation with full membership through the NZSGF to the International Scout and Guide Fellowship (ISGF).
There are branches of NZSGF & Trefoil Guild across New Zealand. Where there is not a branch, there is Town & Country membership or start your own branch. Membership is generally open to all adults 18 years and older (19 for Trefoil Guild) who are prepared to take the organisations Promise and live by Scouting and Guiding principles.
